Join Alaskans for Trans Youth (AFTY) and Arciniega Street Productions for a queer community crafting hangout! Spend time with friends across all generations of the queer community, bring your own crafting project, or do a guided craft with local queer artists + makers! Cody Nuk’ulaełen Henrikson will offer beaded earring making and Audry from Queer Art Jam will offer coloring and drawing supplies. This event is FREE and will include mocktails, good music, and arts and crafts for ALL AGES. Hope to see you there!

EVENT POSTPONED: With so many important events happening around the same time, we’ve decided to postpone this Alaskans for Trans Youth event to ensure our community can fully engage and show up with intention. We’re working on a new date and will share updates soon!

Join us for a vibrant pop-up event to celebrate and introduce Alaskans for Trans Youth (AFTY) — a new community-led movement supporting, uplifting, and advocating for trans and nonbinary youth across Alaska. This event is free to attend and will include: cupcake decorating, a friendship bracelet station, Them Processed Goods, a community resource table, performances from local artists and dance groups, goody bags, and more! All are welcome: allies, families, and youth!

Join staff at the ACLU of Alaska for a third session in our series "Know Your Rights, Know Your Power" for LGBTQIA2S+ Alaskans and allies.

Helen Malley, Skadden Legal Fellow for the ACLU of Alaska, will present on First Amendment rights to assembly, “Know Your Rights” information on protesting in today’s political climate, and the history of protest in LGBTQIA2S+ communities.

This webinar series is free and open to the public, but RSVP is required. If you cannot attend live, we encourage you to still register so you can access the recording after the event.

Choosing Our Roots is proud to partner with Arciniega Street Productions to bring you the first DRAG LOTERÍA of the year – but this time, as a fundraiser for our SafeRoot Anchorage program!

On Sunday March 9th from 5-7:30PM, we'll beat Williwaw Social enjoying drag performances, good food and drinks, and playing a fun Mexican cultural game for several chances to win prizes from your favorite local businesses! This event is 16+.

There will be high-energy drag performances between rounds of games. PLEASE BRING $INGLES and tip your artists!

General Admission tickets are $15, but for folks who can/want to give more, we have other GA and table options available where you may donate more. We strongly encourage reserving your spots early. Lotería is free to play! Playing card included with ticket/table. Food and drink will be available for separate purchase at Williwaw.

Our FBX stop will feature the talents of local drag artists Ice Watah, Cry Baby, OSHA Violation, Ella Mental, Oasis Debris, and Charlie, and welcome a very special guest – none other than THE Widow Von'Du from Season 12 of RuPaul's Drag Race!

1 NIGHT ONLY: On Saturday, March 1st, join us at Good Titrations for a cannabis cafe drag show! Doors open at 7:30PM for guests to arrive, find their seats, and order snacks, beverages, and green from Good Titrations.

This event is ideal for groups. We strongly encourage folks to reserve tickets and tables early as our events always sell out. Please bring cash to tip your performers and your service staff!
